“On Saturday, December 6, 10am–4pm, and Sunday, December 7, 12 noon–4pm, the community is invited to the Sheldon Museum’s annual Holiday Open House. Members of the Middlebury Garden Club have created beautiful dried floral arrangements enhanced with natural botanical designs in keeping with the period of the historic Judd-Harris House. Carols played on the Museum’s 1831 piano, a craft activity, a holiday raffle and of course the trains will all add to the festive event. The Arthur Healy: A Retrospective and Charity and Sylvia: A Weybridge Couple exhibits are also on view.
What has become an annual holiday tradition in Middlebury, the Midd-Vermont Train Club’s elaborate electric train layout is sure to delight all ages. Over the years, the assemblage has grown and now stands 3 levels high, with two tracks running Lionel O gauge trains and the upper track running HO trains. The backdrop of the green mountains painted by local artist Gayl Braisted adds atmosphere. New this year is an automatic gateman and the billboard is back! Don’t miss the Mickey Mouse box car, Cabot Cheese car and 1948 Santa Fe passenger train. The trains will run through January 3, 2015.”
Admission to the Holiday Open House is by donation.

We haven’t heard of it. You might check with the Sheldon Museum in Middlebury – they have a winter train exhibit put on by that group. http://henrysheldonmuseum.org/events/electric-trains-are-rolling-down-the-tracks/
