On Thursday, November 10 from 10:00-11:30 am, Aurora School students will host an Electricity and Magnetism Fair at Ilsley Library in Middlebury. This event is open to the public, and visitors of all ages are welcome. The fair is designed to be interactive and informative. Visitors will have a chance to try out students’ self-designed magnetic and electric toys and games, and hear about the scientific and creative ideas behind their creations. Projects range from mazes to moveable art, matching games, and more.
Learning is always hands-on, interdisciplinary, and theme-based at Aurora School. The theme of “North and South” will be reflected this winter when students delve into learning about Polar Regions, and in a spring study of the Civil War era and abolition. Aurora School is an independent, state-approved K-8 school located in Middlebury, in its twenty-first year of operation.
