French Heritage Day

Don’t miss this free, educational fun-filled family day in Vergennes City Park! Franco-American music, French Canadian fiddling, learn French response songs, step-dancing, re-enactors, French food, antique vehicles & engines, traditional craft demonstrations, exhibits, hands-on fun such as churning ice cream, pumping water, old time games, horse & carriage rides, children’s educational activities, Square Dancing w/instruction, Waiter’s Race for professionals and non-professionals of all ages! Narrated historical walking tour of Vergennes with ‘le Comte de Vergennes, The French Canadian Genealogical Society will help you trace your roots, visit St. Peter’s Catholic Church built by the French.

Don’t miss the Vergennes Falls Lighting at 9pm-1145pm. (Tentative)
