The Ilsley Public Library is celebrating its 100th year birthday! There will be many activities for all ages happening throughout the day:
10 a.m. to noon: Storytime with Miss Tricia
11 a.m. to noon: Mini Tome Talk discussion of an Anne Patchett essay at Otter Creek Bakery, with treats.
12:30-3 p.m.: Star Wars interactive movie screening
1-2 p.m.: Grown-up storytime (local authors read from their work)
2-3 p.m.: Music Together demo class
2-3 p.m.: Live music by the Kervick Brothers
3-4 p.m.: BIRTHDAY CAKE CELEBRATION (with face painting, photo booth and more)
The cake will be part of a Birthday Cake Bake Off! Get out your mixers and your favorite recipes and bake a birthday cake for the party. There are 3 categories; Amateur, Professional and Gluten Free. Entries will be judged on appearance, creativity and taste. Guest judges are Chef Jillian Huizenga, Culinary Arts Instructor @ PAHCC and Tatiana Dale, Otter Creek Bakery Manager. Just bring your entry to the library between 11AM-1PM. What a great way to celebrate your community library!
