For School-Age Kids

Do you like to take things apart?  Spend the school in-service day with library staff and re-use expert John Fontanilles of Good Point Recycling.  We’ll use hand tools to explore the mechanics of a variety of technologies – from computers to telephones.  This hands-on workshop allows school-age kids the freedom to explore the art and science of how stuff works in the spirit of the popular “maker movement.” Adults are welcome, too!  Drop in.
