Join The Vermont Book Shop and independent bookstores across the country for parties, author readings, in-store events, and exclusive day-of merchandise.

The Vermont Book Shop has a full day of events planned, many with local authors. Doors open at our regular time of 9:30 a.m. and exclusive IBD books and art pieces will go on sale. These items are extremely limited! At 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. we present Pose with Cy- clist and Author Chris Bohjalian for a Wheel-y Great Photo. From 10 – 11 a.m. attendees can play Let’s Make a Deal with Nancy Mean Wright for A Chance to Win Queens Never Make Bargains. Stupendous Caricatures Drawn by Artist Ashley Wolff event slated for 11 a.m. to noon and Bill “Renaissance Man” Schubart will Demonstrate his Fortune-Telling Prowess from 3 to 4 p.m. Stick around for Cocktail Hour Under the Tree of Forgetfulness, Mini Vintage Pies and more… Lucky customers will find Golden Eggs hidden in the store, VBS gift cards with Mystery Amounts – one for $50, two for $25, twenty for $5.
