This program is taught by volunteer instructors on behalf of the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department. The program will be composed of a classroom element to educate participants about water ecology and Vermont’s fish population. The hands-on element of the program will teach proper fishing skills and ethics as well as the rules and regulations of fishing. The first part of the day will be spent in the OCR at the library. After a lunch break on the lawn, participants will walk down to MacDonough Park to try out what they have learned in the water. All equipment is provided. This program is limited to kids ages 8-12.
