NORDIC RENDEZVOUS & BACK-TO-THE-BARN TOUR TO CELEBRATE WINTER!
Gather your family and friends for a day of winter magic at Rikert Nordic Center. The event begins with the BACK TO THE BARN TOUR: x-c ski, FatBike or show shoe on scenic trails filled with woodland magic, leading you to the cabin where Robert Frost wrote. Stops along the way will offer hot trailside treats. As dusk settles, follow the luminaries and gather around the bonfire with some mulled cider. Then, make your way to the Bread Loaf Inn for a buffet of hot soups and chili, breads, salads and dessert. Local wine, beer and hard cider will be available at a cash bar. The festivities conclude with a rollicking old-fashioned BARN DANCE to lively fiddle music in the historic Bread Loaf Barn where the great stone fireplace will be ablaze.

SCHEDULE
2:00-4:30 – Back to the Barn Tour: time for a ski, snow show, or FatBIke
4:30-5:30 – Luminaries, hot cider around the bonfire
5:30-7:00 – Buffet dinner at the Inn
7:00-8:30 – Push back the tables for a barn dance with Honey in the Hive

Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
