Open farm week at the Willowell foundation land

You are invited to the Willowell Land in Monkton for “Open Farm Week,” August 16th and 17th

We are offering fun FREE events and food for people of all ages on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday the 16th from 10:30-11:30:
Toddler play time at the farm followed by a family style PYO veggie opportunity. Come join other families of young children for free-play, circle, and a family harvest of veggies to take home.

Wednesday the 17th
10:00-11:30: Youth Farm Olympics
11:30: Draft Horse Demonstration
Noon: Garden Fresh Brick Oven Pizza

The Willowell Farm is an educational farm that is used by summer camps, students of the Walden Project High school, and other interested youth and educators. Based on our 230 acre property, the farm is a community hub and learning lab. This year we have a variety of livestock. We pride ourselves in our garlic and kale crops and our on-site pizza ovens.
