Meet up with other like minded, young adventures for a family friendly hike!
Animal Winter Picnic at Buck Mtn in Waltham with the Young Adventurers Club. While the pace is geared towards younger adventurers (ages 4-8), everyone is welcome. Each outing is tailored to the individual participants, and will be fun for the whole family!

What is YAC? 

The YAC encourages and promotes children’s enthusiasm for
playing in Vermont’s outdoor spaces. 

These trips focus on families getting out and having fun, rather than going fast or far. Basic, progressive information about outdoor safety and stewardship will be provided with each trip, and all trips have a theme or activity. While the pace may be geared more towards younger adventurers (ages 4-8), everyone is welcome. Each outing will be tailored to the individual participants, and will be fun for the whole family!

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
