Tractors, ponies, mini donkeys + much more! Day of Play is coming soon!
Have you ever been to an event that’s so ridiculously, awesomely kid-friendly that that you begin to wonder whether the organizers are actually kids?
We’re so excited to attend the 2nd Annual Big Tractor Fun Day and Antique Tractor Show that we’re actually planning two weeks ahead! On Saturday, August 6, from 9-1 kids of all ages will be ogling tractors, driving motorized gators, riding ponies and generally enjoying good ol’ fashion Vermont fun. This well attended event checks all Vermont family fun boxes. It’s FREE, check. There is food for sale, which means we’re not packing snack or lunch, check. It’s jam packed with enough variety to please all ages, check! And our favorite unique twist, there will be car seat safety checks from 10-12, such a smart addition to a family event, double check!
While we’re fired up for the usual suspects – face painting, balloons, giant bubbles, tractor wagon rides – but we know the most popular spots are going to be the…
But not to be outdone, the organizers also padded the venue with PLENTY more options after the kids are done testing out their driving and riding skills! Plan to enjoy the….

This event is also a charity fundraiser to raise funds for the Charter House Coalition. Charter House Coalition provides community meals and emergency and transitional housing for those who need it in the Middlebury Area. Although admission and all events are free, volunteers will be grilling up lunches, selling ice cream and baked goods for donations. They’ll also be selling cool T-Shirts with the Day of Play tractor logo in kids’ sizes! Last year, this first year event raised over $1400 for charity and they hope to continue that momentum this year! So please stop by and join the party, enjoy some food and sweets and make some great memories!
