As you loyal readers know, at MiniBury, we aim to shop local when possible. So, when it comes to getting our paper products printed, we often turn to the Little Press Room in Middlebury. The shop is far from new; they’ve been in business for thirty years, so you’ve probably hear of them by now. But did you know they send out a monthly newsletter that showcases local businesses, local event calendars, new products and fun tips, tricks and online articles? We were honored to be the featured customer in their February Newsletter! We’ve reposted our article below for your reading pleasure. If you’d like to learn more about the products Little Press Room offers, be sure to read the whole February newsletter or visit them online.
Customer Spotlight
Are you sick of hunting through newspapers and message boards to find quality classes, activities, and events for your family? So was Eliza Eaton and that’s why she started MiniBury.com in May of 2012! MiniBury is a website dedicated to providing families with up to the minute information about their town. Based in Addison County, MiniBury has organically grown into a trusted, reliable community resource center for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and educators looking for local family-friendly activities, events, classes, and educational experiences.
MiniBury is home to a carefully curated online events calendar that lists everything from prenatal yoga classes to toddler story-times to school-aged vacation camps to teen friendly live music to parents only fun. They know you’re overbooked and over tired, so they aim to make parenting more fun and less work! A visit to MiniBury will help you plan your after-school, weekend, and vacation times; they’ll show you how to keep your family busy and entertained during every season.
On MiniBury, you’ll find coveted information regarding day cares and preschool, plus informational videos with local experts explaining the benefits of early childhood education. And as if that’s not enough, they also share the advice of local pediatricians, homeopath doctors, and other healthcare providers every Wednesday in a new series called Wellness Wednesdays; covering topics like postpartum depression, the benefits of children’s yoga, mindfulness, and healthy eating habits. MiniBury is accessible many ways. You can visit the main website, follow MiniBury on Facebook and Twitter, and sign up to receive the newest blog posts right into your email box. Additionally, for parents on the go, consider subscribing to their events calendar and just like magic, you’ll always know what’s happening around town.
MiniBury is dedicated to improving the lives of woman, families, and our community; the site reflects a deep love of childhood education and our Vermont community. In late 2015, MiniBury began seeking and accepting local sponsors and advertisements in order to continue as a sustainable community resource. If you or your company are interested in learning more or advertising with MiniBury, they’d love to chat with you!
