As part of the Wild Lights winter festival, meet live falcons, hawks, and owls with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS)! These animals provide the lens through which we examine food webs, predator/prey relationships, and the independence of the systems that support life. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience. Demonstrations at the following times:

Wild Lights Festival at ECHO
ECHO will be aglow during this celebration of winter light, taking place Nov. 28 – Jan. 3! Visit to check out the holiday trees, delicately hanging decorations, and amazing giant snowflakes, plus themed programming and guests to make the season even more special. Daily demonstrations and encounters will help you learn about the winter habits animals in the basin. Plus – ECHO will be illuminated inside and out each evening, offering a beautiful light show for the waterfront and beyond. All programming is free with admission.
