Busy busy busy, that’s how your weekend looks! Winter is right around the corner but it looks like we might have one more warm fall weekend to get out and enjoy.
Kick off your weekend cheering the undefeated Tiger football team on as they face South Burlington Friday under the lights. Game starts at 7:00 p.m., but expert fans always arrive early since parking is nearly as competitive as the game. It will get cold after dark, but the excitement of the game is well worth a few extra layers of clothes and a late bedtime!
After sleeping off the excitement of Friday night, Saturday you could….
- swing by the Middlebury Farmer’s Market for free treats and pumpkin painting,
- visit the animals at Triple K Farm,
- take a ride to the top of the Snow Bowl (and get excited for ski season), or
- test drive those Halloween costumes at Basin Harbor’s HarborWeen. The “trick or treat trail” is perfect for all ages, be sure to make a reservation for a special haunted dinner afterward!
If you have a tractor lover in your house, do not miss the annual Charlotte Tractor Parade on Sunday; this event will not disappoint tractor lovers young or old! No tractor lovers at your house? Head out to Champlain Valley Orchards in Shoreham for their annual Harvest Festival. The drive alone is a beautiful adventure, plus their cider donuts smell and taste delectable.
