ski-ride_logoSeriously, when was the last time we wrote one of these??? Without further ado, here are two fun ways to beat the cold and get the out of the house this weekend!

Saturday morning, round-up the ski gear and head up the mountain toward Rikert and the Snow Bowl for Ski and Ride for HOPE. In its third year, this fundraiser aims to show families how fun it can be to get outside and enjoy the snow while raising money for our local poverty fighting agency HOPE.

The event consists of 3 competitions: a ski/snowboard team race at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl, an alpine skiathon at the Snow Bowl and a nordic skiathon at Rikert. Plus new fun obstacle race course for children at the Snow Bowl. After skiing, participants are invited to an afternoon celebration the Snow Bowl including food and awards.
